 | Mellangoose is a mile and a half away from the beautiful unspoilt fishing village of Porthleven, and equally close to the historic town of Helston. With good sized mainly lawned gardens to the front and rear, it has been recently refurbished to a very high standard throughout. It has a real 'cottage feel' - with features such as beamed ceilings, wooden floors, country style furniture and fresh Laura Ashley fabrics.
Mellangoose Cottage has been recently renovated and furnished to the highest standards throughout, with three bedrooms to sleep up to eight people - ideal for 2 families!! (ie 4 adults and 4 children) The cottage is fully centrally heated, and the price includes all heating costs and crisp, fresh linen and towels.

Bunk bedroom with twin bunk beds (sleeping up to 4), overlooking the pretty garden.
There are two bathrooms - one with shower, decorated with strong blues, and wood floors, the second having a bath with hand shower and lovely tiled floors.
The boiler, washing machine, tumble dryer and extra freezer are in the outhouse.
The garden has a patio area outside the back door with garden furniture and gas BBQ

 | The attractive, unspoilt fishing village of Porthleven in South West Cornwall is situated in the middle of Mount’s Bay, to the west of the Lizard Peninsula and to the east of Land’s End.
The typical Cornish harbour forms the centre of the village, surrounded by fishermen’s houses, shops, pubs and restaurants. There is plenty to do in the immediate area, with two miles of beach and several nearby golf courses, parks and sports centers nearby. There are a wealth of coastal footpaths to explore in the surrounding area, and within easy reach are many more of Cornwall's most picturesque towns and villages.
Other attractions slightly further afield include the famous Cliffside open air theatre at the Minack (30minutes), The Tate Gallery (20 minutes), the Land’s End Theme Park (20 miles). For the children, Flambards Theme Park and Poldark Mine are only four miles away.
