 | Our small agency started over 10 years ago with just a few cottages in Cadgwith, our home base. Our aim has always been to offer a friendly, personal, local service to all our visitors. We have expanded steadily ever since and now offer cottages all around the peninsula. VisitBritain, the national tourist board, now recognizes us as a Quality Accredited Agency. This means that we are trusted to personally inspect all our cottages every year and make sure they all comply with national standards. They do vary in the degree of luxury they offer, but our descriptions and rental prices reflect this.
If you are looking for a holiday of true old-fashioned simplicity surrounded by scenery of breathtaking beauty, then look no further. Just settle down to the problem of which cottage will suit you best.

We are a Quality Assessed Agency and inspect our cottages each year. They do vary in the level of luxury they offer and the rental prices reflect this. All cooking (except in Rose Cottage and Tremerlin) is by electricity. All cottages have colour TV. Duvets and pillows are supplied for all beds. There is a Spar store in most villages. The nearest supermarkets are Tesco and Somerfield - in Helston. Where bed linen is not included in the rental, it can be supplied on request for £7.50 per person per week. Please note, cot linen is not provided. You always need to bring your own towels, face cloths and tea towels unless otherwise stated. Electricity is either included in the rental supplied via a £1 coin meter or key meter. Mobile phone reception is poor in many parts. There are public call boxes and most pubs have a payphone. There are few street lights. A torch may be useful if you are not used to utter darkness and a skyful of stars.

 | Most cottages are old, built long before the days of damp-proof courses and cavity walls, many have low beams, narrow or steep stairs and uneven floors – we do try to warn you before hand. Please keep your cottage well ventilated to avoid condensation problems. You may notice rather more insects than you are used to at home! Pets are allowed in cottages where stated at the extra charge of £15.00 per pet per week. Single beds are 3 foot and double beds are 5 foot unless otherwise stated.
The Lizard peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Britain, might have been deliberately designed as an ideal holiday destination. Within just a few square miles it offers sandy beaches, spectacular cliff walks, unspoiled fishing coves, thickly-wooded creeks and inlets, rolling farmland and a wide expanse of open moorland. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. |
