We hope that you have been made to feel welcome and that you will fully enjoy your stay at The Claremont Hotel. It is our aim to ensure that the standard of service that we provide, in all areas and departments, is in excess of that required according to hotel rating standards. If however you feel that we are not fully successful in our aim or if you feel that some item would have enhanced your stay then please feel free to discuss this with either the proprietor direct or any staff member. Any comments or suggestions will be given due consideration and where appropriate acted upon as and when necessary. We would like you to return so your complete satisfaction is extremely important to us.
We no longer operate our restaurant for lunches or evening meals. Polperro offers many excellent restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes and all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. |
The Claremont Hotel has twelve bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, each with a power shower and the larger rooms also have a bath. Two of the rooms are family rooms which sleep three and four persons respectively, and well behaved children are always especially welcome. Pets are also welcome, but this facility is reserved for certain rooms. All the rooms are doubles with the exception of of one single.
The bedrooms have been newly redecorated and this is an on-going process to ensure that the decor is always to a high standard. Each bedroom has tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and a colour television which also receives certain satellite channels.
Each bedroom and bath/shower room enjoys the benefit of central heating which can be adjusted by our guests so that each individual room has a temperature to suit its occupants. The hotel is therefore fully equipped to open all the year whatever the weather. |  |
 | The public rooms - breakfast room and corridors are also centrally heated with the lounge enjoying the added benefit of an open fire during the winter. Additionally there is a semi-covered patio at the entrance to the Hotel where you can relax.
Our Hotel guests are amongst the very few permitted to drive into Polperro as the Hotel has its own car park immediately opposite the Hotel. The car park is controlled by an automatic barrier which operates when the car approaches, and stops, in front of the barrier. For exit from the car park, our guests are given a code to enter into the control box. This barrier ensures that only permitted persons can use the car park and that our guests always have a parking place and also gives additional security to the cars in our car park |
